3 Wheel Electric Scooter
The 3 wheel electric scooter has become very popular in the last few years because of its stability and the introduction of the Q. There are two major types of 3 wheel electric scooters, the traditional scooter and the Q.
Traditional 3 wheel scooters
Traditional 3 wheel electric scooters look much like the 2 wheel version, with an added wheel in the back. The main difference is that the two wheels in the back offer greater stability. Many of these scooters have room on the back for a basket and some have one built in. A basket is great for carrying books or groceries. Traditional 3 wheel scooters have options like a headlight, mirrors, and quick change batteries. Depending on the model, most scooter batteries will run for 4-6 hours
The Q
At the forefront of modern transportation technology is the Q. These personal transporters are an economical alternative to the well known Segway human transporters. Q scooters are lightweight and easy to maneuver. They've become very popular on college campuses, at the workplace or for any short, everyday travel. These scooters are known for their stability and portability. Q scooters feature state-of-the-art controls and brakes. Depending on the model, most of these scooters reach a maximum speed of 10 mph. Q scooters are quiet and offer many features including turn signals, reverse mode, keyed ignition and LED displays.
Scooter safety
Because all electric scooters are different and each manufacturer has its own set of operating instructions, it is most important to become familiar with the operation manual of your scooter. Know maximum weight limits and recommended terrain. Always wear safety gear, including a helmet and pads.
3 wheel electric scooters are a fun way to travel. They come with a variety of options. Many people prefer electric scooters because they're quicker than walking and more economical than traveling by car. |
